CALCULATION OF THE PLATES

laWall

We recommend you to make a more exact calculation, taking into account the joints you will have to make. It is a bit difficult to explain, but we will give you an example that will help you understand what we mean.

• You have a wall 1.55 m. high and 2.45 m. wide. That makes a total of 3.79 m2:
• You have chosen the 6.5 x 20 cm tile, which in its technical data sheet indicates that it has 1.27 useful m2.
• You divide the m2 you need by the m2 that the tile has, and you get that with 3 tiles you cover the entire surface: 3.79 : 1.27 = 2.99

BUT… !!!!! Look at the first drawing we showed you. Even if you make a complicated work of cut-outs and joints, you won’t be able to cover the whole surface….

What happened????!!!!

Well, depending on the assembly, there will be parts of the material that you will not be able to reuse when you cut them out, for example, CUTS IN THE MIDDLE OF SOME SLIDES!!!!)

In the second image you will see that if you take one more sheet, you will cover the whole wall.
